The journey of AI Story Coach began with a simple observation at home. Like many children, my daughter Ting Ting had a vivid imagination, yet traditional, text-heavy books often felt overwhelming. For children with special educational needs (SEN) or those learning English as an Additional Language (EAL), the pressure of decoding words can turn the joy of reading into a source of anxiety. I realised we needed a bridge—a tool that empowers children to express their brilliant ideas without the barrier of typing or perfect spelling.

At AI Story Coach, we believe that every child is a natural storyteller. Our mission is to democratise creativity. By blending cutting-edge AI with a deep understanding of neurodivergent learning needs, we transform passive reading into an active, joyful adventure. We want to hear the stories of those who usually stay silent.

We replaced keyboards with microphones and magic wands. With features like Voice-to-Story and Draw-to-Story, children can simply speak or sketch their ideas, and watch as our AI weaves them into beautifully illustrated, bespoke picture books.
